La Concha Resort – Our Evolution

We are thrilled to announce the transformation of La Concha Resort, as part of our transition from a Renaissance Hotel to Autograph Collection by Marriott International projected for 2025. This renovation is aimed at providing you with stylish and modern accommodations in the near future as part of a property wide enhancement plan.

Newly added amenities include a brand new oceanfront Elemara Spa & Salon already open for the enjoyment of our guests, and our latest culinary venture Tekka Bar: Handroll & Sake, a high-end sushi restaurant concept by renowned Las Vegas restaurateur Takashi Segawa. As part of La Concha's evolution, a full renovation of 235 one-bedroom suites as well as new offerings and amenities. Among them, renovations of dining spaces, lobby, reception, meeting rooms and new fine dining restaurant.

A new culinary experience, Levant by Chef Michael White will be debuting early 2025. This exciting new concept, helmed by renowned Chef White, represents a meaningful step forward for La Concha Resort and the vibrant dining scene of San Juan. Levant is poised to become a must-visit destination for locals and travelers, setting a new standard for culinary excellence and offering an unparalleled experience in the heart of San Juan. Featuring breathtaking design set in an enchanting locale, Levant will occupy a premier location within the iconic seashell-shaped architectural marvel designed by the internationally renowned architect Mario Salvatori in 1958. The iconic seashell shaped floating venue, celebrated for its extraordinary engineering and architectural beauty, will serve as the backdrop for one-of-a-kind epicurean experiences, seamlessly blending the elegance of the Mediterranean with the stunning vistas of the Caribbean.

La Concha Resort has had a long-standing relationship with Marriott, forming part of its Renaissance Hotels group for 17 years. Joining Marriott's Autograph Collection is a huge step forward in La Concha's legacy as one of Puerto Rico's premier hotels. With this partnership, our guests will enjoy new levels of luxury and an enhanced guest experience.

The Autograph Collection is part of Marriott's Distinctive Premium tier of hotels. It includes over 270 independent hotels and resorts located in some of the world's most desirable destinations spread out across more than 45 countries and territories. Each hotel is hand-selected for its uniqueness in both design and its approach to hospitality, following the motto "Exactly Like Nothing Else."" Currently, it is the most demanded and popular of all Marriott's brands.

This will be the first Autograph Collection Resort in Puerto Rico. Featuring 478 rooms and suites, La Concha Resort offers tropical modernism and bountiful amenities, showcasing sweeping panoramic views of the ocean right at the epicenter of San Juan's hottest social scene. Among its main attractions are the popular Casino del Mar, which features the newly built BetMGM Sportsbook, the first of its kind in Puerto Rico, and Fifty Eight Nightclub, where you can enjoy vibrant performances and even share the dance floor with your favorite celebrities. Originally built in 1958, then renovated and reopened in 2007, the hotel has a rich history and has long been a key component of Puerto Rico's tourism industry.
